2010 Tournament Schedule
For 2010, KBF Board has adjusted the Qualifying System to the following:
At all Regional events the format will be Angler/Co Angler.
Each Regional will Qualify 8 Anglers + 8 Co Anglers
From the End of Year Points List 8 Anglers + 8 Co Anglers that have competed in 2 or more events.
Example:

Note: Both Anglers and Co Anglers from the 2009 State Tournament & National Contenders MUST have competed in a minimum of 1 event to be eligible for 2010 State Tournament.

Kentucky will host the 2011 Southern Divisional. The 2010 State Tournament will be held on the same body of water. Location will be announced upon finalization of location.
Youth Members:
Youth Members that meet age requirements to compete in the Adult Division may still do so, but National Requirements require Membership in an Adult Club.

Following this years Jr State Tournament in which 6 of each age bracket will make up the KBF Jr State Team. The Sou Div event will have 6 members from each Age Bracket. These contestants will be paired 1 from each age bracket per boat. 6 Boats only will be required at this event.
The Older Age Bracket contestant will fish the 1st half of the day from the front of boat and have choice of fishing waters.
The Younger Age Bracket contestant will fish the 2nd half of the day from the front of boat and have choice of fishing waters.
In either case, should a contestant not be capable of operating the trolling motor, the BOAT CAPTAIN will run the trolling motor.
This makes the field equal for all contestants.
