Hey TW. I can see why you'd think I was bitter over being shut out at Barren. When reading a post,it's hard to tell what attitude a person has when they're trying to convey something on a discussion board. But I'm not at all bitter or angry. I just know there were many guys shut out,so all I did was sort of make a suggestion while asking a question about slot fish being weighed in.(Barren River Lake has my number! I'd put 1000 to 1 odds that if I ever qualify,it WON'T be on Barren!) Webster's dictionary defines "Barren" as: incapable of producing, empty,lacking. Now I know how the Lake got it's name!HaHa. Just kidding. I fished the lake maybe six times and each time the water levels have been totally different. I just haven't learned the lake well enough to have any confidence areas. I really like the lake as far as water color,structure,depth. I just don't know it well enough to be successful on it. I'm not at all bitter,in fact I kind of expected it. Now next month on Ky Lake my confidence will rise tremendously. Barkley Lake is my favorite of any body of water in Ky. Thanks for the vote of confidence anyway.
