Since I'm not one to generally hold back on what I think, I am bound to share something that has touched my heart. It's taken me a few days to be able to emotionally regroup but here goes... Over the last few years, I have seen the worst in us(the KBF) and the best. However, this week I witnessed the absolute very best in us. This has been a hard week, more so for others, but hard none the less. We rose to the occasion and bonded in support of each other. As a mom, I am so honored that my sons have not only found a hero in their father, but also have each of you as well. This week they also lost a friend in Harold Babb. They requested to come with me to the funeral on Wednesday. There they saw men and women they admire and aspire to be like put aside competivness and bickering. They saw them cling to each other, cry, and laugh. They saw us be human, and that is a good thing. To each of you, thank you for your example. Whether we realize it or not, we each influence someone every day. Let us learn from Harold, to enjoy life, engage in competition, support and uphold each other, love the Lord with all our hearts, and try our best to influence others with this attitude. You guys are the greatest!
